VCon 30 - Turkey Readings

An event where we take the worst sci-fi and fantasy literature - often old pulps that illustrate what you get when you pay by the word - and act them out, to a reading. If you're thinking that it sounds awful, you're right. Awfully funny too though, which is the only thing that keeps the actors from rebelling when someone bids to continue whatever literary masterpiece we're roasting at the moment. The proceeds of the turkey readings and the "art" auction afterwords go to CUFF, the Canadian Unity Fan Fund. I leave you with this quote, "Like an aligator grinning at a naked swimmer." -- Sentinels From Space
