Due, probably, to Jeremy Bulloch's presence, Conversion had an abundance of Star Wars characters roaming the halls, more than five storm troopers, three Boba Fetts, a handfull of Jedis, and three Leias. The masquerade however saw a wider range of entrants, a Dalek, a Nazgul/Girl-Scouts skit, the personification of a season, a great anime Heroine, the Star Wars characters, and others.

Con-Version is Calgary's annual science-fiction/fantasy convention. Last year is co-existed with Westercon 58 which roams across the Western USA and Canada. The guests this year were David Weber, Larry Niven, R. Scott Bakker, Adrian Kleinbergen, John Hertz, Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett).
